Run to the forest, jump around the trees and then run back to the village. How hard can it be? It’ll be as hard as you want it to be. This is a great race for teams, families, beginners and experts alike. Whether you’re trying your first off-road run or you’re getting fit for one of Doctor Rob’s Trionium specials or you’ve temporarily gone mad and entered a toughmudder then this is a great race for you.
Register on the day at the Chiddingfold Football Club off Coxcombe Lane, pick up your T shirt and head for the start funnel. Groups of 5-10 are set off every 3 minutes to keep you spread out on the course and to ensure the Marshals have a good stream of runners to wave at.
Now you’re off, past the church and running along bridle paths, tiny roads and forest tracks until you get to Fowlsehatch Copse. Grab a drink at the drinks station and jump around the trees and obstacles before getting back onto the trail home. We change the route a little every year depending on where the local farmers and foresters are using their machinery, so keep looking for the little yellow arrows! Once you’re through Frillinghurst wood you’re on the home straight to the finish on the football pitch.

If you can’t remember all that then don’t worry because the route is marked by hundreds of little yellow arrows. In 5 years no-one has ever got totally lost nor been eaten by squirrels.
