19th November 2017 – listing now on Runner’s World

The only online entry this year is via our shop. Runner’s World now take 10% of all the ticket price and don’t release funds to the race organisers until 2 weeks after the event. Apologies to those of you who prefer the Runner’s World Shop but the reality is that we could not afford to put the race on withe those constraints.

The good news is that we are changing the start system this year to make it easier to run with your mates. More news soon!! Don’t forget to enter online soon.

2016 course almost done!

The 2016 course is now small-person friendly. In fact we might have made it harder for tall people than short people – oops! The zig-zags are done, the prancing pony is longer, the jungle has been cut-back, the new tyre wall is close to the ground for people with shorter legs and we have had a bit of a tidy up and pulled several hundred tonnes of logs off the course. Thank to all the runners from previous years who have helped us tidy up the wood and open up more areas for run-forest-run.co.uk. We’re looking forward to 20th November – how about you?

3 weeks to go until #rfr2015

Course ready, T shirts ready, Marshals ready, Cakes and Bacon Butties planned and the emails with race information due to go out in the next few days.

If you haven’t entered yet, then I urge you to do so before the 2 week limit to ensure that we have a T shirt with your size! If you would like to be a marshal and get a free entry for 2016, then please look at the Marshal Page and let us know. The more marshals, the better the event and we thank you all. Marshals will of course get a bacon butty, cake and T shirt.
